The other week I had a flat tire. I was stuck on the side of the road and Brandon wasn’t able to come help. Fortunately, I know how to change a tire along with other vehicular maintenance. However, changing a tire becomes difficult with the little sidekicks. Finding the spare was a whole ordeal, school drop-off/pickup was cumbersome, and deciding what tire to purchase was draining. What I did:

I went to the Firestone Direct website and selected the service I wanted. The van needed an oil change along with new tires. I put in the year, make, and model to get the recommended tires and type of oil service.

What happened next:

The Firestone Direct technician called to verify the service and the tires I selected. We drive a lot and I wanted something road-trip ready! Since the van was already parked in the driveway I didn't have anything to do except to sit back and relax. By relaxing I mean, helping the girls with their after-school routines and to mark some items off of my to-do list.

I had to see what was going on:

The Firestone Direct technician came in the coolest van. We actually had two come out. The first technician started the oil change service while the other replaced the tires and completed the maintenance. If you are in the Columbia, South Carolina area his name is David and was a wealth of knowledge. I was able to chat with him about my specific vehicle and his recommendations. Totally worth the extra fee in my opinion. After the service was complete David our Firestone Direct technician reset all of the warning lights and discussed what services the van needs next. Yay alignment🤪 As an added bonus Firestone Direct customers get a discount. Speaking of discounts, military members receive 10% off of Firestone Direct services.

Overall I would use Firestone Direct again if it's in the budget. Avoiding the sales pitches, stuffy waiting areas, and headaches of the car dealership is pure magic. The cost, service times, and maintenance requests are upfront. If I were to change anything, I would like to request the same Firestone Direct technicians in the future.
